Marcus de Alwis

Marcus has been a part of the CSL Group since 2009. He was appointed CSL Seqirus General Counsel in August 2021.  Previously, Marcus led the CSL Seqirus Legal function in Asia Pacific and was a key member of the team advancing a number of transformative transactions for CSL Seqirus. Prior to joining the CSL Group, Marcus was a solicitor in global law firm, K&L Gates, for several years where he worked in the Capital Markets and Biotechnology space. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Science (Major in Genetics) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management from the Governance Institute of Australia.
